2008

So for starters, I definitely don't have a strength in the creativity department when it comes to the title for a blog. My friend Lydia encouraged me to give blogging another shot; I've had a few in the past that I never gave much effort to. So as I was thinking of a title for my blog I simply tried to think of who I am or what I'm about. "Pursuit of Love and Happiness" isn't the most creative of blog titles, just pretty accurate to what I'm about, or at least trying to be, hence "pursuit." I guess this journey or goal for myself began in November of 2007, when I broke up with my fiance. After I broke off my engagement I told myself that was the first day of my new life. I guess lots has changed in the last year:
-Cut hair short- new me (appearance wise), but made me feel hot!
-Got a new job, which I still have, but am starting to get incredibly bored with.
-Become more of a "social butterfly", I have gone out A LOT! :) which brought me...
-New boyfriend- I met Angelo (at the bar) RIGHT after I broke up with the fiance. But just made the relationship official just this month (a year after meeting).
-Decided to start college, again, for good! No giving up this time.

I guess that's the gist of what's happened in this past year for me. I suppose that all of the above is the start to that Love and Happiness business. I am happier than I've ever been, although, sometimes have a slight issue with anxiety...guess that's life though.
Since meeting Angelo, and soon after falling into a pretty deep love with him, I'm more interested in transferring to a college in Madison...that seems to leave UW-Madison.

Since this post has summed up 2008 for me, it makes me wonder what's to come in 2009...I can only hope for things to keep getting better! :)
